Man dies after fall at Ephrata Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant

A worker injured in a fall at a wastewater treatment plant in Lancaster County last week has died.
Roy Bautista, 35, of Mission, Texas, died Saturday of multiple traumatic injuries, according to the coroner's office.
Police said Bautista was part of a construction crew doing a refurbishing project at Ephrata Borough Wastewater Treatment Plant on South Reading Road when he fell through a piece of roof and into an empty storage tank on Thursday afternoon.
The drop was at least 20 feet, according to police.
Bautista worked for CST Industries, Inc., which is based in Kansas City.
The company released the following statement:
"It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we communicate the passing of one of our construction services employees, Roy Bautista. Roy passed away on Saturday following a fall incident at a job site last week in Pennsylvania. Roy joined CST Industries, Inc. (CST™) in September 2019 and was a valued member of the Construction Services Team.
"The entire CST family mourns this loss. 'On behalf of the CST leadership team and employees, our hearts go out to the family, and we extend our prayers and deepest sympathies during this difficult time,' said Jeff Mueller, President and CEO of CST Industries, Inc."
