Michiana Crime Stoppers hosts their annual Fall Shredding Event

Michiana Crime Stoppers hosted their annual Fall Shredding Event at Southgate Crossing in Elkhart on Saturday morning.

Michiana Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization that offers an anonymous tip program for people to provide information about felony crimes and fugitives.

They work with local law enforcement agencies and media outlets to carry out this opportunity.

As a non-profit, they are responsible for raising all the money for rewards.

In this Fall Shredding event, any unwanted or sensitive documents were able to safely be shredded for a minimum donation of $20 by the Integra Certified Document Destruction.

All donations go towards fund reward payouts for anonymous tipsters who utilize Michiana Crime Stoppers to provide information about felony crimes and fugitives.

The shredding event was a drive-thru, so people did not have to get out of their cars to participate.
